Christians of the late 20th Century and the 21st Century have always ascribed this verse to “evil and evil men”. The context however does not justify such a conclusion.
This verse could very well be associated to GOD unlocking the hidden mysteries of the past and giving understanding to HIS People who are called to prepare the way for the KING OF GLORY.
Archaeologists hail the discoveries of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947 as the greatest discovery of the 20th century. People of the faith believe this to be an act of GOD causing it be to be discovered just one year before the miraculous re-birth of the Nation of Israel @ 1948.
But what makes this discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls special with even greater ramification for the 21st Century are the many scrolls that were unearthed at Qumran. These scrolls have literally turned our understanding of the New Testament on its head. Never again will you and I see the Gospels or Paul’s Epistles or for that matter the entire New Testament the same way ever again as information contained within these scrolls demands that we take yet another look at the New Testament with light shining through the Dead Sea Scrolls. The traditional view of the “400 Silent Years” between the last book of the Old Testament @ Malachi and the first book of the New Testament @ Matthew have been brought under serious scrutiny with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls ( DSS ).
What’s even more interesting and intriguing is that our re – interpretation of the New Testament forces us to take another look at the Old Testament this time in new light.
It is this “new understanding” of both the Old and the New Testament that has come to us by the grace of GOD especially for such a time as this in order to prepare HIS people for the last days that I am bringing to you Starting Feb 7, 2022 under a new series of subjects ( topics ) under the heading “ AS NEVER BEFORE”.
