Seeing The Big Picture

Even as PASSOVER is before us @ April 15, 2022 just like GOD called upon His people to prepare themselves for NISAN 14 [ APRIL 15 ] we too need to prepare ourselves accordingly – not so much physically as they did, but more so spiritually !
In order for us to do this I am sharing my thoughts with you via an ACROSTIC @ S.H.E.M.I.T.T.A.H. , a eight lettered word that will take us through April to Dec 2022.
S @ APR : SEEING THE BIG PICTURE
Let us begin by asking as to why GOD would want to introduce a NEW CALENDAR, initiate a NEW YEAR and a implement a NEW MONTH at this time for HIS People ?
Ever since creation a Calendar was already set in motion that the Jews believe began in the month of TISHRI ( Sept / Oct )
For the records I too am asking these questions for the first time ( just like you)!
1. PROMISE : As we read the EXODUS accounts we realize that unknown to the people BUT known to both GOD & Satan that the promise that the GOD OF ISRAEL made to His Servant Abraham was due …
Gen 15 : 13 Then the Lord said to Abram, “Know for certain that your offspring will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs and will be servants there, and they will be afflicted for four hundred years. 14 But I will bring judgment on the nation that they serve, and afterward they shall come out with great possessions. 15 As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age. 16 And they shall come back here in the fourth generation, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.”
400 Years have passed and over four generations of GOD’s people have been caught up in Egypt as slaves and none was “aware” that the promise that GOD made to their forefather Abraham was due – not even Moses. And when the 400 ++ years were coming to an end two forces got into action – Satan & GOD.
Satan on his part, fully aware of GOD’s promise made to Abraham, as GOD said it “out loud” to Abraham in Genesis 15, knew that it was time for him to act and therefore as we come to Exodus 1 we find a strange twist in the story.
CHAPTER 1 @ EXODUS : The Pharaoh in the days of Joseph received the Hebrews ( Jacob & his Family ) gladly and gave them the best green pasture in the land @ Goshen @ Gen ??? How then did things turn so badly for the Hebrews in the days of Exodus 1 ?
Satan acutely aware that the “time for the fulfillment of the promise was due” made his first move by whispering into the years of Pharaoh to kill all the Hebrew baby boys ( not the girls ) for he knew fully well that GOD had promised to raise a “deliverer” when the time comes. Satan acted pre – emptively in Chapter 1 @ Exodus.
Satan had always been busy when it came to ISRAEL and the ISRAELITES by filling the Promised Land with 7 Giants just to make sure that the People of GOD do NOT have a “walkover” – a term used in sports to depict a moment when a person or a team is declared winner by default as the opponent or opposing team never shows up.
CHAPTER 2 @ EXODUS : But in Chapter 2 we have GOD now making a “countermove” by protecting Moses as a baby and sovereignly allowing him to be found and raised within the Pharaoh’s household. And GOD keeps Moses under cover for the first 40 years of his life.
CHAPTER 3 @ EXODUS : GOD makes HIS Plans known to Moses first and then His people – that the time for HIM to fulfill HIS promise to Abraham had come.
