Most Christians, those are dead and those who are alive today, have no clue on what the goal of the Christian life is all about. Like the first generation Israelites they too have left their Egypt ( Salvation ) but are NOT consciously and contentiously journeying towards their “Promised Land” but instead are going in circles in the wilderness just like the first generation of Israelites did and died in the wilderness without ever stepping into their “Promised Land” ( Promised Destiny ).
